First Technical Festival of Colleges and Technical Institutes in Misrata

Excerpts from our participation as a Diamond sponsor in the first technical festival of colleges and technical institutes of Misrata, held from 11 to 13 February 2024 at the headquarters of the Faculty of Technical Sciences.
This festival is one of the most important events organized by the General Federation of Students of Misrata Colleges and Technical Institutes, which aims to develop students’ abilities and skills and enhance communication between them and the community.

US Special Envoy Visits Al Naseem Food Industries

The U.S Special Envoy For Libya Ambassador, Mr. Richard Norland, visited Al Naseem Food Industries, accompanied by Mr. Jeremy Bernd, charge d’affaires ad interim of the U.S. and Mrs. Lindsey Caffey, Chief of Political and Economic section of the U.S. Mission to Libya.
They were received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mohamed Raied, Mr. Gabriel Raied a member of the Board of Directors, and a number of the company’s department directors.
A lengthy meeting was held in which the two parties talked about the most important political and economic issues that Libya is going through and the role of the United States of America in most fields.
His Excellency the Special Envoy and his accompanying delegation expressed their understanding of the most important issues concerning Libya. They also expressed their admiration for the company’s capabilities, advanced production lines, professionalism, commitment to approved quality standards, and their products that cover the entire needs of the Libyan market.
For his part, the Chairman Mr. Mohamed Raied thanked His Excellency the envoy, and the accompanying delegation for their visit, which is the first of its kind in years for Misrata and Al Naseem, confirming that the company will continue its work according to a development plan that will always enable it to meet the need of the Libyan market and make it one of the leading companies in its field.

His Excellency the Bangladeshi Ambassador to Libya, Mr. Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Khair Al-Bishr, visited Al-Naseem Food Industries Company today, Thursday, where he was received by a member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Jibril Al-Raid, and the directors of the production and purchasing departments.
The visit included an introduction to the production processes and advanced technologies used in manufacturing food products, where His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his great admiration for the company’s advanced infrastructure, its products and its commitment to international quality standards. He also expressed his desire to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences between Bangladeshi companies and Al Naseem Food Industries, and to open new horizons. For trade and investment in this important sector between Libya and Bangladesh.

The Japanese Ambassador Visits Al Naseem Food Industries Company

Today, Wednesday, the Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Mr. Shimura Izaro, visited Al Naseem Food Industries Company. He and his accompanying delegation were received by Board Member, Mr. Jibril Al-Raid.
This visit included a field tour during which the Japanese delegation was briefed on the company’s production lines and factories. They expressed their admiration for Al Naseem Company’s work mechanisms, production capabilities, and the professionalism of its staff in providing quality products that reach all Libyan cities.

Russian Ambassador Visits Al-Naseem: Commends Quality and Development of Products

His Excellency Dr. Haidar Rashid Abdullah Aghanin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Libya, recently visited Al-Naseem Company. He was warmly welcomed by Mr. Jibril Al-Ra’id, a member of the board of directors, along with his accompanying delegation.

This visit served as a valuable opportunity to discuss potential avenues for technical and commercial cooperation, as well as to exchange insights that can enhance productive investments and job creation in both Libya and Russia. The discussions highlighted the vital role that a proactive private sector can play in strengthening economic ties between the two nations.During his visit, the Ambassador closely observed the efficiency of Al-Naseem’s production lines and the operational systems implemented by the skilled team of technicians, engineers, and workers. He received detailed explanations regarding the workflow, as well as the integration with other company units for supply, storage, marketing, quality control, health standards, customer service, and innovative technical training.

Dr. Aghanin expressed his profound admiration for the exceptional quality and high competitiveness of Al-Naseem’s products. In line with our commitment to support and guide new graduates while providing job opportunities that enhance their skills and capabilities, we were pleased to participate in an open recruitment day on Thursday, October 31, 2024. This event was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Engineering, Misrata University.
