US Special Envoy Visits Al Naseem Food Industries
The U.S Special Envoy For Libya Ambassador, Mr. Richard Norland, visited Al Naseem Food Industries, accompanied by Mr. Jeremy Bernd, charge d’affaires ad interim of the U.S. and Mrs. Lindsey Caffey, Chief of Political and Economic section of the U.S. Mission to Libya.
They were received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mohamed Raied, Mr. Gabriel Raied a member of the Board of Directors, and a number of the company’s department directors.
A lengthy meeting was held in which the two parties talked about the most important political and economic issues that Libya is going through and the role of the United States of America in most fields.
His Excellency the Special Envoy and his accompanying delegation expressed their understanding of the most important issues concerning Libya. They also expressed their admiration for the company’s capabilities, advanced production lines, professionalism, commitment to approved quality standards, and their products that cover the entire needs of the Libyan market.
For his part, the Chairman Mr. Mohamed Raied thanked His Excellency the envoy, and the accompanying delegation for their visit, which is the first of its kind in years for Misrata and Al Naseem, confirming that the company will continue its work according to a development plan that will always enable it to meet the need of the Libyan market and make it one of the leading companies in its field.
